Home for the Mind - World Mental Health day 2025

As World Mental Health Day approaches, we're taking a moment to highlight why this day is so important, especially for students. Mental wellbeing deserves the same care and attention as physical health, yet it’s often overlooked. Now more than ever, it's time to break the stigma, start meaningful conversations, and remind each other, you're not alone.

At Luxome, we recognise the unique challenges students face, adjusting to new surroundings, academic demands, and the distance from familiar support systems. That’s why this year, we’re proud to introduce our mental health campaign, Home for the Mind.

Home for the Mind is all about creating space for connection, understanding, and support. Whether it’s checking in with a friend, sharing a quiet evening together, or simply listening, these everyday moments help build a sense of belonging. Because feeling at home isn't just about where you live, it’s about how you're supported.

Together, let’s make mental health a priority and build a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and cared for.

Quick Mental Health Tips for Student Life

📅Keep a routine – structure helps reduce stress.

🧘‍♀️Take breaks – even 10 minutes away from screens helps reset.

📞Reach out – text a friend, call home, or talk to someone in person.

🌙Prioritise sleep – it’s the foundation for emotional balance.

💬Talk it out – bottling things up only makes them heavier.
