Cycling is also a popular choice, thanks to dedicated bike lanes and the nearby Fallowfield Loop, a traffic free cycling and walking route that stretches across South Manchester. Although Fallowfield doesn’t have its own train station, nearby stations like Mauldeth Road and Manchester Piccadilly provide excellent rail connections for longer journeys. Platt Fields is a favourite green spot for locals and students alike. Perfect for a stroll on the way to uni, chilling with mates, or just getting some fresh air.It’s got a lake, sports courts, playgrounds, and loads of space to hang out.
