Time Out Group’s Film Premiere

Luxome’s Charity of The Year, Time Out Group, held the premiere of their animated film at The Rex Cinema in Wilmslow. Based in Handforth, Time Out Group provides adults with a learning disability, including autism, with a range of activities to help them improve their confidence, independence, health, wellbeing and happiness.

On the 5th December 2024, The Rex welcomed the members, parents and team from Time Out Group to a private screening of The Voyage of Hope. Matt, of Technically Brilliant Club and the animator behind the film, describes the picture as “a journey of discovery which emphasises the powerful connection the members have with Time Out Group and a documentary showing some of the activities that take place during an ordinary week at Time Out Group.

Charity Manager Jo Adams said “this is a significant milestone for the charity, after securing £220,000 of National Lottery Funding last year we’ve been working hard to tell our members' story. The premiere provides a focal point for our members and stakeholders to come together and celebrate that story”

Luxome provide support to Time Out Group, helping to amplify the reach of their fantastic work.
