🎃👻 Spooky season is here… and so is our competition! 👻🎃

Get ready to unleash your inner pumpkin artist because it’s time for the Luxome Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest! By now you should have received your very own pumpkin delivery, the perfect blank canvas for your spooky masterpiece. This year it’s House vs House, so bring you’re a game and carve your way to victory!

🧛‍♀️ HOW TO ENTER
Carve your pumpkin, take a hauntingly good photo, and send it to us via COHO messenger with the title “Pumpkin Competition”
The winning house will be announced on October 31st 2025, just in time for the grand finale of spooky season!

🔪 WHAT YOU'LL NEED

1 Pumpkin (already provided)
Carving Knife (or any safe cutting tool)
Spoon (for pumpkin guts!)
Marker or Pencil (for sketching your spooky design)
Candle or Battery powered Light (to bring it to life)

🕸️ HOW TO CARVE YOUR PUMPKIN LIKE A PRO

Cut the Lid
Use your knife to carefully cut a circle around the top of your pumpkin, this will be your lid. Make it big enough to scoop stuff out and place your light inside later.
Scoop the Guts
Time to get messy! Use a spoon to remove all the seeds and stringy bits.
Draw Your Design
Sketch your spooky or silly face on the front using a pencil or marker. Go classic with a jack o’ lantern grin, or get more creative.
Start Carving
Carefully carve along your lines. Take your time and watch those fingers.
Add the Details
Eyes, nose, mouth, or even fangs and scars! This is where your pumpkin’s personality comes to life.
Light It Up
Pop a candle or battery powered light inside, put the lid back on, and ta da! Your pumpkin is now ready for the spotlight.

This competition is open to Luxome residents only. To be eligible to enter, you must be a current resident of Luxome and living in one of our homes for the duration of the competition.
